  • UCAS  The Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) produces regular reports investigating key topics such as the demand for higher education and outcomes at the end of the different application cycles. It publishes annual data files detailing applications and acceptances by institution, subject group and domicile, as well as frequent sector-level application reports during the main cycle of admissions and Clearing.
  • HESA  The Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) collects a range of data every year UK-wide from universities, higher education colleges and other differently funded providers of higher education. Information derived from the data is published as official statistics covering students and qualifiers, staff, destinations of leavers, finance, business and community, and estates management.
  • HEFCE  The Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) publishes a range of statistics in relation to HEI recruitment and performance as well as commissioning bespoke research and analysis into all aspects of university business.
  • Universities UK  Representing 134 members, including virtually all of the universities in the UK and some colleges of higher education, Universities UK publishes a range of reports, briefings and statements on issues relating to Higher and Further Education.
  • Distinct The HEFCE-funded Distinct project examined the process of identifying positioning and distinctiveness within universities and provides a best practice framework, as well as a range of case studies.
  • HEliX The HEFCE-funded HEliX (Higher Education: Leading Internal Communications) project consists of a model framework and set of indicators or statements of good practice designed to enable a university or higher education institution to evaluate its staff communication practice and policies.
