​​Writing to a set brief, targeting different audiences, adapting tone of voice and following in-house style guides comes naturally. Kathryn has significant experience developing  content and has written, edited and proofed copy for almost every type of digital and printed material. She can transform technical content into user-friendly material with impact.


Course information

Student recruitment has been the primary income source for the universities Kathryn has worked with. Her marketing knowledge and insight gives her the edge when it comes to presenting course information in an engaging way, and with market needs in mind. One of her most ambitious projects has been to review and rewrite 250+ courses for Coventry University.

​​Copywriting 

Throughout her career, Kathryn has been responsible for best practice marketing communications with a reputation for excellence, innovation and exceptional writing skills that won recognition with multiple national awards from CIPR, CIM, Heist, Communicators in Business and the THE. Her initial National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ) instruction, subsequent media relations and marketing experience have honed her writing and editing techniques to the highest of standards.

Prospectuses
​​Kathryn has produced dozens of undergraduate and postgraduate prospectuses, often constructing content plans and drafting copy directly. Since going freelance, she has contributed to the University of East London's website and prospectus, as well as writing front end promotional copy for Coventry University's prospectuses two consecutive years.
