The Honest Marketer

Flexible: Writing to a set brief, targeting different audiences, adapting tone of voice and following in-house style guides comes naturally to Kathryn, a fully trained journalist. Having spent two decades in education marketing, she has written, edited and proofed copy for almost every type of digital and printed material, and can transform technical content into user-friendly material with impact. Her marketing knowledge and insight gives her the edge when it comes to presenting course information in an engaging way, and with market needs in mind.

Examples of past projects:

· Prospectus content for Wolverhampton, Northampton, BCU, Coventry, UEL.

· Web content for Coventry, UEL, CSVPA, ONCAMPUS.

· Reviewing and rewriting 260+ course profiles for Coventry University

· Applicant Day and Open Day communications for Anglia Ruskin University, UEL, CSVPA.

· Research Review and PhD adverting template for Coventry's Faculty of Engineering.

ONCAMPUS, University of Reading

Editorial content for a range of marketing collateral was needed to support the ONCAMPUSReading launch, targeted at prospective students and sales staff. Copy was produced in accordance with the University’s editorial guidelines and to standard templates (developed by Kathryn on an earlier partnership project with ONCAMPUS).

"Kathryn’s work is of the highest standard. She worked quickly to our briefs, making sure she understood the dynamics of our partner relationships and worked effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. I would thoroughly recommend and look forwards to working with her  in the future."
