Training

On occasion, once Kathryn has completed her review of the Marketing Department and/or its activities, she has been invited to undertake bespoke staff development and training. You will be  involved at every stage of the development process, so that she can tailor training content to your needs

Examples of past projects:

  • Copywriting training for researchers and marketers at Coventry University.
  • Workshops on how to improve applicant engagement and to secure greater engagement and support from professional service and academic staff at Anglia Ruskin University.
  • Student recruitment presentation for the University of Liverpool's Marketing Department Away Day.

University of Wolverhampton

The University commissioned Kathryn to undertake staff training with 15 marketing managers in the area of strategy and engagement.

"The client group had a mixed experience level and included both faculty and corporate post holders, all of whom had a marketing remit. Kathryn approached the training brief in a thorough, innovative and thought-provoking manner, devising a fantastic two-day programme which was tailored to our needs. Feedback from the course participants was overwhelmingly positive and we are now implementing many of the plans and techniques covered in the training."

Katharine Clough, Director of External Relations

Coventry University

Kathryn worked with the University's Faculty of Engineering, Environment and Computing to develop a promotional strategy for its research activities. This included the creation of a new advertising template for PhD studentships. She was subsequently invited to run a series of workshops with researchers and research support staff.

"I found the training excellent and would strongly recommend. It would do marvels for early career and mid career researchers. It brought attention to detail and overall was an eye opener; identifying common pitfalls and providing a structured guide to writing adverts."

Professor Elena Gaura, Associate Dean (Research), Faculty of Engineering,  Environment and Computing
